Justin Theroux has admitted that he still feels 'protective' of his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.

The pair divorced in 2018 after two years of marriage, but Theroux says they have remained close friends.

Speaking to Esquire, Theroux said: "I would say we've remained friends. We don't talk every day, but we talk enough."

He added: "I'm protective of her as a person, because I deeply value our friendship.

Theroux also said that he is "happy" for Aniston, who is now married to actor Jason Sudeikis.

"She's a great person," he said. "I'm lucky to have her in my life."
